How to Donate
Monetary Donations
Hours of Operation
Donations are extremely important to the Goldstream Food Bank as we continue to procure essential nutritious food items.
About 60% of our food is purchased locally and 40% comes from Community donations as well as our food rescue initiatives. Your monetary dollar donation goes much further at a wholesale level because as a food bank it affords us better purchasing power. Approximately every dollar donated allows us to purchase two dollars worth of food. Our purchase priority is to continue to support local merchants in the Westshore and Greater Victoria businesses if at all possible. Additionally, ensuring the best price versus product availability, allowing us to provide continued quality hampers to our clients.
Goldstream Food Bank Society Issues Tax Receipts for all donations $20.00 and over. See Donation options below.
